He started singing in the 7th grade and started writing his own songs. In high school, he was also a player in the football and basketball teams. D'elia is also abuilder and ingineer. He has played in local and open-air venues in San Antonio. In his early twenties, he decided to move to san francisco to pursue a career in music.
